Mark Malmberg

Mark Malmberg is a creator of light, media and projection art. Their 2 recorded works between 1993 and 2013 were presented at Ars Electronica Festival. Honours include Award of Distinction at the Prix Ars Electronica 1993 for “Grateful Dead - Infrared Roses Revisited / Lawnmover Man”. Frequent collaborators include XAOS.

Biography

Mark Malmberg (US), born 1953, earned a BFA in sculpture from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1977. He entered the world of computer graphics in 1988 when he joined fledgling studio Xaos Inc. in San Francisco, California.
