Principles
- Facts, not copies. We store facts and at most a short excerpt (around 300 characters) for context, always attributed and linked. Full texts, photographs and videos stay on the original sites.
- Original writing. Page summaries are generated from facts; guides and glossary entries are written for this site.
- No hot-linked photos by default. Cover images are generative light-art graphics created for each page.
- Open data. Wikidata content is CC0. Projector specifications are technical facts compiled from manufacturer data as published by ProjectorCentral.
- Polite collection. Pages are fetched slowly, cached, and re-checked periodically.
Accuracy
Automated extraction can make mistakes — names split incorrectly, years missing or a location misread. If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page URL and we will fix it.
