Biography

Thierry Noir is a pioneering street artist, best known for his colorful and iconic murals on the Berlin Wall. Born in Lyon, France, Noir moved to Berlin in the early 1980s, where he began painting the Wall as a spontaneous act of protest and artistic expression. His simple, bold, and vibrant characters, with thick black outlines and bright colors, became symbols of hope, freedom, and resistance during the Cold War.
