“Ambitious Bitch” by Marita Liulia received a Honorary Mention in the Interactive Art category of the Prix Ars Electronica 1997.
"Ambitious Bitch" is an update of western femininity at the turn of the millennium. I chose some of the main subjects that women's studies have brought into public discussion in recent years, and built up a multimedia presentation of 12 sections using different rhetoric and representations.

Marita Liulia (SF), born 1957. BA from Helsinki University and studies in drawing, painting and sculpture at University of Industrial Arts in Helsinki. Cooperation with light and sound designers Tarja Ervasti and llkka Volanen.
