“Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives in the Stone Wall” is an interactive digital installation by the art collective teamLab, first presented in 2018. Sound: Hideaki Takahashi. teamLab has 652 more works in this atlas.
Flowers grow from the bodies of animals that inhabit the stone walls of Kochi Castle. The walls themselves are built on top of the undisturbed natural rock landscape. The flowers bud, bloom, scatter and fade away in a continuous cycle. When people move close to the animals the flowers scatter.
