Branch Magazine: A Sustainable and Just Internet for All
🏆 Special Prizes · Prix Ars Electronica 2021
In 2021, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Branch Magazine: A Sustainable and Just Internet for All” by Climate Action Tech (Digital Humanity) with one of the Special Prizes.
Branch is an online magazine written by and for people who dream of a sustainable and just internet for all. The internet is the world’s largest fossil fuel-powered machine. If we continue business-as-usual, the IT sector will be responsible for 14% of the world’s carbon emissions by 2040.
