Digitales Bild B-786

by Arthur Schmidt

🏆 Award of Distinction · Prix Ars Electronica 1991

Arthur Schmidt's “Digitales Bild B-786” was honoured with an Award of Distinction at the Prix Ars Electronica 1991, category Computer Graphics.

The different layers of the digital image by Arthur Schmidt, which looks like a painting, merge into one another. The smooth structure of the surface is characteristic for "computer paintings". I came to computing after dealing with experimental projects as a painter over several years.
