Discord: metal and meat

by Stephan Larson

🏆 Honorary Mention · Prix Ars Electronica 2006

In 2006, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Discord: metal and meat” by Stephan Larson (Computer Animation) with a Honorary Mention.

Discord: metal and meat is an abstracted story about conflict between forces, whether the forces are literally metal and meat, or more metaphorically perceived as man and nature. In such a conflict, one force can overwhelm another for a time, but inevitably the opposition will regroup, coalesce, and renew the fight.
