Reanna Niceforo and Phil Sutherland created “Enlightened?”, a light artwork shown at Amsterdam Light Festival 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
These artists found inspiration in the allegory of Plato’s cave for their project Enlightened? A man, trapped in a cave, perceives only transient shadows and echoes but never comes into contact with real life (the perfect, ordered world).
