Stephanie Cunningham's “Face to Face” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1995, category Net Based Art.
Often when visiting a web site, the user is disappointed upon finally viewing the contents of a page. When creating "Face to Face" I wanted to take advantage of what is unique and exciting about WWW browser software: the ability to create a visual end to the Internet.
