“Flowers and People, 2 sets of 5 screens” is a digital installation by the art collective teamLab, first presented in 2016. teamLab has 652 more works in this atlas.
The flowers bud, grow, and blossom before their petals begin to wither, and eventually fade away. The cycle of growth and decay repeats itself in perpetuity. The artwork is not a pre-recorded image that is played back; it is created by a computer program that continuously renders the artwork in real time.
