“Kloop” by www.kloop.kg received a Honorary Mention in the Digital Communities category of the Prix Ars Electronica 2010.
The Kloop Media Foundation’s primary goal is to develop journalism and new media in the Kyrgyz Republic. It does this by developing websites that work as a space for free expression and training journalists and bloggers. The main project is the “Kloop.kg” youth web portal.

The Kloop.kg (KG) web portal was established in June 2007 with support from the Dutch-based Hivos Foundation. During its first two years of activity its news service has become an important source of high-quality news for and about the Kyrgyz Republic.
