In 1998, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Le ressac” by Yves Le Peillet (Computer Animation) with a Honorary Mention.
A waiting room, the tide is out. Wooden chairs are discovered, well ordered against a wall.Through an open window, we can hear children playing on a beach. Everything seems to be quiet. A chair starts to move and then goes back to its first position. It slips again, followed by another one.
About Yves Le Peillet
Yves Le Peillet (F), born 1965, attended ENSAD (Ecole National des Arts Decoratifs) and graduated in cinema and video design. After graduating he workes as a freelance computer artist on a 3D fiction film.
