Les Depossedes

by Juliette Marchand

🏆 Honorary Mention · Prix Ars Electronica 2000

In 2000, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Les Depossedes” by Juliette Marchand (Computer Animation) with a Honorary Mention.

The film Les dépossédés combines 3D and 2D techniques. The cold, smooth character of 3D is mitigated by borrowing from paper cutting techniques. The plot involves a couple and quite comically describes how the man takes possession of the woman and the woman of the man in very different ways.
