In 2017, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Mitwachsende Armprothese” by Samuel Lehner and Dominik Ballwein (U19 – Create Your World) with a Honorary Mention.
Wir hatten es uns zum Ziel gesetzt, für die dreijährige Lena eine mitwachsende Armprothese zu entwickeln und diese mithilfe des schuleigenen 3D-Druckers herzustellen. Die dreijährige Lena kam lediglich mit einem gesunden Arm auf die Welt, ihr linker Oberarm ist nur zu zwei Drittel ausgebildet.
