Lukáš Dřevjaný, David Minařík, Michal Mitro and Luboš Zbranek created “Nexus (Signal Calling)”, a digital art shown at Signal Festival 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Nexus installation grows algorithmically in time and space. Like the mycelium rhizome or human and non-human neural networks, the individual cells of this digital moss are constantly exchanging information. The ecosystem of the work is thus made up of building units that take on part of the identity of the whole.
