Peter van Haaften, Michael Montanaro and Garnet Willis's “ON AIR” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2025, category Digital Musics & Sound Art.
The audience speaks into the bells of two horns. Sound is inhaled into an alchemical apparatus. The collected voices become chaotically entangled within the tensile confines of an expanding latex balloon.
