In 2017, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Open Source Estrogen” by Mary Maggic and Byron Rich (Hybrid Art) with a Honorary Mention.
A collaborative, interdisciplinary research project, *Open Source Estrogen* combines biohacking and speculative design to demonstrate the entrenched ways in which estrogen is a biomolecule with institutional biopower.
