“OUR UR” by Domenico Sciajno and Alvin Curran received a Honorary Mention in the Digital Musics & Sound Art category of the Prix Ars Electronica 2004.
The idea behind this recording session was to establish a parallel perspective able to reflect the time-structural displacement in the making of spontaneous music. Curran plays his wide range of samples and pre-processes them in real time. This results in the first two layers of sound.
