Joey Lessard's “Sweet Extreme” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1998, category Computer Animation.
What has most fascinated me about working with computer-supported 30 animation from the beginning is special effects and the animation of human figures. For that reason, I have attempted to combine these two elements in the expose of my short animated film Sweet Extreme.

JOey Lessard (CDN) has a degree in architecture from the Université Laval, Quebec, and has studied animation, film and television since 1997 at the Centre National d'Animation et de Design (NAD) in Montreal.
