The CouchSurfing Project
🏆 Honorary Mention · Prix Ars Electronica 2005
The artist's “The CouchSurfing Project” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2005, category Digital Communities.
The CouchSurfing Project helps members make connections worldwide. They can use the network to meet people and then go and surf other members’ couches! When they surf a couch, they are a guest at someone’s house. The host provides some sort of accommodation, a penthouse apartment or maybe a backyard to pitch a tent in.
