“The Dancing People on the Wayside (work in progress)” is an interactive digital installation by the art collective teamLab, first presented in 2014. teamLab has 652 more works in this atlas.
Various people are dancing on both sides of a road of darkness. When a visitor walks by the dancers they react in various ways; they stop dancing, they show enjoyment, or they sing. When a person starts to sing other people close by respond and also begin to sing.
