“The Match of the Day” is a light artwork by Geert Mul presented at GLOW Eindhoven 2009 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
For “The Match of the Day,” Geert Mul placed five lightboxes with photos on the facade of the Eindhovens Dagblad building. This medium attempts to bring structure to the flow of information on a daily basis. Above, a new image is shown every few seconds, “spinning” like a fruit machine before a final selection is made.
