Bee

by Apostolos Loufopoulos

🏆 Award of Distinction · Prix Ars Electronica 2011

Apostolos Loufopoulos's “Bee” was honoured with an Award of Distinction at the Prix Ars Electronica 2011, category Digital Musics & Sound Art.

_Bee_ was created in summer 2010. The work is inspired by the microcosmos of insects, a world of intense/energetic flying behavior, and could be described as a “journey on the back of a bee”, since metaphorically often places the listener in this imaginary position, as “traveling” on the insect itself.
