“Flowers in the Sandfall” is an interactive digital installation by the art collective teamLab, first presented in 2015. Duration: endless. teamLab has 652 more works in this atlas.
The flow of sand proceeds in a fixed rhythm, incessant and unchanging, while the flowers ceaselessly bloom, wilt, and bloom again. When a person stands before this flow of falling sand, the sand’s path is changed by the person's presence; the flow of the sand parts, and a space opens.
